I take pictures because I'm driven to create. I really like making normal people look their best, so you probably won't see any gorgeous models in my portfolio. Just regular people who look like gorgeous models. For many people, my images will be a defining point in their self-image. I take that seriously, and I treat them with a respect befitting the beauty I see in all people.

**Beauty * Respect * Love * Appreciation**
That's what I strive to create and the spirit with which I approach those for whom I'm privledged to make portraits.

Abbie + Curt = Get Married! Missouri Wedding Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of shooting Abbie and Curt's wedding. Abbie is the sweet, soft spoken, smiling type that you can't help but like. Abbie did such a great job of organizing this wedding, I flat out have decided that she should be Maryville's premier wedding coordinator. I have a feeling she'd be really good at it. Maybe it was just my fondness for the colors, or the decor, but everything was perfectly coordinated - right down to what even the guests wore.

Curt is the big manly, man that is ever so slightly camera shy. Funny enough, I kept saying to myself, "who does this guy remind me of?", and while editing, It hit me. He reminds me of my own father when he was that age, stature, looks and even right down to the occupation (and the camera shy bit).

Their story, is the classic high school sweethearts story. They go to the same high school, she is best friends with his cousin, one day she realizes that he's cute (where was he??), cousin says "WHAT!? He's my *cousin*!" and the rest is history.

Enjoy their day.... it was beautiful.

Funny foot note: Remember last year when I broke my foot? Well, Curt's sister was the one I was photographing when it happened. Needless to say, I was fairly paranoid the whole day. I came out fairly unscathed! Whew!

You know it's been a great wedding, when you leave at the end of the night, feeling less like you were working, and more like you had fun!

Congratulations to Abbie and Curt!

Their wedding was sooo beautiful. There are so many similarities with mine that it brings back memories. Our wedding color was green. My girls carried green hydrangeas. My dress has a lace overlay like hers. My ring has the square halo like hers. Beautiful pics and very talented photographer.

You are very talented! I love the photo of the bride's and I'm assuming Mom & Grandma's hands with the rings. So "out of the box".
